Japan Earthquake and Tsunami!

As I'm sure all of you know, there has been an earthquake in Japan, causing a tsunami that devastated the coastline of Japan. After this, you may wonder; well, at least it can't get any worse?

It's too bad it could. There is now a nuclear crisis since a nuclear reactor had a meltdown and is sending radiation everywhere.

Let's hope that Japan can recuperate from this disaster, and that it will be back to it's glorious ways soon.

Tubing at Calabogie Peaks.

Well March Break has arrived and for the weekend I went tubing at Calabogie Peaks Resort. It's a small little skiing resort near my cottage, and so I went there with my family.

Calabogie Peaks Resort.
After the long drive to my cottage, we went to the resort on Sunday. I thought the hill was quite small, but what I didn't realize was that (1) it was covered in ice, and (2) it goes faster when your spinning out of control.

Any who, this was quite an enjoyable experience, and hopefully it will reflect the kind of fun that I will encounter for the rest of March Break.

P.S. For anyone going to Calabogie Peaks, I greatly recommend it, it is quite entertaining.

My New Love of Walruses.

After seeing a 'Family Guy' episode involving Peter having his back shaved like Meg and 'purring like a walrus,' my appreciation of walruses has gone up dramatically.

Walrus!
I mean, think about it. Their like aquatic sumo wrestlers with tusks. What more could you want from an animal?

The day after my 'revelation,' I wrote a newspaper article about an infestation of walrus in a restaurant. It seems stupid, sure, but it really showed me the greatness of a walrus.

Cat or Dog?

For some odd reason, part of my business class about whether cats or dogs are better pets (actually it was just two people). Since I couldn't think of anything to blog about, I decided to blog about this; are cats or dogs better?

CATS:

  • have a litter box, do not require as  much maintenance as dogs, clean themselves
  • look more sophisticated (dogs tend to look sloppy)
  • will not leave you if you get lost, but will rather try to find you
DOGS:
  • are very loyal and friendly
  • come in too many breeds to count
  • have great senses
So, now that the stage is set, which do you prefer:
CATS or DOGS?

No Posts for Two Days?

Sorry about the gap for a couple of days...but it turns out that my gmail account was disabled, and therefore I can't readily access my blog. But, I will try to as much as possible.
